agreed. i’ll be the first to admit i have only the vaguest and most basic of ideas about how to appease investors, but i do understand the pull to create a more ‘mass appeal’ about tumblr. i find this notion very damning. in short, i don’t want another myspace. i don’t want another facebook. i don’t want another twitter. that’s why i’m ON tumblr. hell, i don’t even post that much original material….90% of my posts are reblogs. mostly because the content is just so damn entertaining. and maybe it’s because i belong to the small circle of people who seem to bond over tumblr because it ISNT mainstream. but what will become of us when it is?
